On the afternoon of October 11th,from 7 to 8 classes,English department teachers listened to Mswang ’s course of“Introduction to Contemporary China”.This lesson is based on the unit theme, with "Human Community" as the sub theme, and relevant teaching activities are carried out, which is refreshing.
Ms Wang introduced the concept of "human community" to students by playing related theme videos before class, which aroused their strong interest. This small video provides students with an overall framework and gives them a preliminary understanding of the theme of this lesson. Then, Ms Wang began a detailed explanation of the unit text. In order to encourage students to think and participate actively in discussions, she asked them to read the corresponding paragraph on their own and engage in discussions on the topic of the paragraph. Through this guided teaching approach, Ms Wang effectively stimulates students' interest in learning and enables them to participate more actively in the classroom.
During the explanation process, Ms Wang adopted various teaching methods. A detailed explanation of the text content, including vocabulary and grammar, was provided to ensure that students have a deeper understanding of the details of the text. This meticulous teaching method provides students with an opportunity for comprehensive learning and helps them better master knowledge. In addition, Ms Wang emphasizes classroom interaction and promotes good relationships between teachers and students. In addition to offline interaction, there is also a rain classroom barrage interaction section in the classroom, allowing students to express their opinions and feelings in real-time. This interactive approach makes the classroom more lively and interesting, enhancing students' sense of participation and learning enthusiasm.
